A friend and I set a random intention in South Africa to meet for lunch in an Asian country a year ago, today we met up in South Korea:

So been meaning to share the story behind this meeting at Plant in Seoul, Korea last Saturday.

So last year, July 2015, Donna (with me in the pic) and I were at Plant in Cape Town with 2 other friends, having our weekly catch up dinners (epic events). And as usual we were all sharing our dreams and life goals fearlessly and also saying goodbye cos 3 of the 4 of us were leaving South Africa.

I was going to Goa, India in a few months and Donna was heading to the US and then Korea. So, we jokingly say to each other how cool it would be to meet up in Asia for lunch and a catch-up session since we'll both be on the same continent. We laugh and let it go.

Fast forward to January 2016 and I call Donna and find out she now lives in Japan and I'm all like - "I want to move to Asia for 2 years, I need a break from my work to process all the tantra yoga work and the s*** it brought up."

She mentions that I may love Seoul. We let it go. And I think well let me write a letter to my guides to put me in the right country cos I have no attachment to where I end up (still don’t). But then so much stuff happens and I start meeting ppl who tell me about Korea and teaching English so I go what the hell. I will send out feelers for every Asian country I want to visit or live in and see what happens.

Fast forward to April and I'm having lunch at Plant in Seoul with Donna and we have this awesome catch up with me drinking the same smoothie I loved drinking at Plant in Cape Town in Seoul.

And we have this crazy realization - we set this intention to meet and have lunch in a country in Asia last year. And just for fun the universe made us meet at a restaurant with the same name as the one we set the intention

This still makes me smile and makes me a believer in the power of words wen creating reality.
