All in Changing Our Feelings About Money
As a tantra yoga teacher I don’t struggle with the poses, I struggle with feeling the feelings the poses bring up for me and I struggle with staying in my body.
I often have to remind myself that resistance is an emotion. When I allow myself to feel the resistance and the struggle of being with my feelings, I can go deeper in the asanas.
Fun fact: when I lived in Boston, MA I had a tutoring company where I taught university students from Wealthy families and the Saudi Royal family (the princes and princesses) finance. I taught from freshman to 3rd year.
It has been said that, "The love of money is the root of all evil."
My question today is: If we can't love money, then how should we feel about money?
I love how in the #MoneyMagic student group we actively debate banks and investments we like and hate and give reasons why we feel the way we do.
A while back we got into a heated debate about business banking and which bank is best in South Africa for banking and receiving international payments and I actually learned a lot from people’s comments.
One day we will have to have a deep conversation about this new age spiritual idea that people with money are high vibrational or high consciousness.
This assumption that people on a high frequency are the ones who get money is very dangerous.
One of the fears we work on in the Fall In Love With Your Bank Account Challenge is the fear of running out of money and the shame we feel around our finances.
