South Africa 2019 Retreat
Doing the last retreat in the village this weekend...before I leave South Africa for 6 months in about 10 days.
Did grocery shopping today and it seems the cuisine for the March retreats is def Asian - think Thai and Chinese.
I spent most of the last few weeks eating and chilling in Cyrildene and am def ready to go back to South East Asia.
[Although right now I just have a one-way ticket to Sri Lanka cos I am undecided on where I am going to live after May. Cambodia is high on my list tho, but part of me also wants to check out Taipei ]
At the last retreat I also taught students how to make rice paper rolls and made my special Chinese dipping sauce with ingredients whose names I can't pronounce cos they don't have English words on them.
I just sort of discovered them in South Korea and just miraculously knew how to mix them and was just over the moon to find them in Cyrildene.
And of course, we also did yoga and I attempted to do chakra balancing but I was too tired so it wasn’t as effective as usual.
